Dr. Steven Myers, Purina Beef Consulting Nutritionist
Dr. Myers was raised on a family livestock farm in Central Illinois. He has received a B.S. in Agriculture and a M.S. & Ph.D. in Ruminant Nutrition from the University of Illinois. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Colorado State University for three years and has been with Land O’Lakes Purina Feed since June of 2001. Steven lives in Edmond, OK and is a Consulting
Nutritionist who works with purebred and commercial beef cattle producers in portions of Oklahoma and Kansas. Steven also serves as one of the lead nutritionists for the Honor Show Chow® beef feeds.
Bob May is the owner/operator of Bob May Cattle Company of Mineral Point, Wisconsin. While Bob has been showing cattle for over 30 years, he takes great pride in the accomplishments of his son Brock and the success he is having at major livestock shows the past 4 years. He also enjoys watching his daughter Lauren thrive as a competitive gymnast and is looking forward to her first major livestock show in Denver. Bob enjoys teaching young exhibitors and passing on his knowledge to fellow show enthusiasts.
Dave Allan is the owner/manager at Bar A Cattle Co., Schulenburg, TX. Dave along with his wife Becky and two sons Tyler & Mason run about 200 cows that are geared towards club calf production. They have several Purebred Red Angus, Herefords, and Shorthorns in their donor herd as well. He has judged numerous national shows in the U.S, Canada and Mexico including shows in Denver, Kansas City, Louisville, Toronto, Ft. Worth, and Houston. Dave has been active in the cattle business and showing for 33 years and has shown 15 National Champions in 4 different breeds.
